In the years 2019-2021, in cooperation with the teaching staff of the Wrocław University of Technology, we conducted detailed tests of the cutting tools we produce. The tests were carried out on specialized machines for machining located in the technological hall of the university of technology.
The aim of the research was to optimize the geometry of monolithic milling cutters and sintered carbide drills. During the tests, we measured the cutting forces, the wear of the cutting edges and the surface roughness after machining.
After analyzing the results obtained, our technology department implemented the knowledge and experience gained during the research. The result is our flagship Blue Lagoon stainless steel processing line.
