Line for hardened materials

The line for hardened materials has tools for the molding industry. The tools are ground in the geometry for machining hardened materials in versions up to 55 HRC and up to 65 HRC. Grinding behind the working part of the tool allows for the processing of deep pockets of details.

Radius cutter

  • Radius cutter Z4 HM   (Standard & Long)
  • Radius cutter Z4 HMP (Standard & Long)

Ball nose

  • Ball nose Z2 HM   (Standard & Long)
  • Ball nose Z2 HMP (Standard & Long)

Radius cutter Z4 HM

The Z4 HM radius cutter is designed for machining hardened materials up to 55 HRC.

The negative flute geometry provides a stronger cutting edge and the shallow flutes provide high tool cross-sectional strength.

Lowering behind the working part.

The tool can be cooled with liquid.

Radius cutter Z4 HMP

The Z4 HMP radius cutter is designed for machining hardened materials up to 65 HRC.

The negative flute geometry provides a stronger cutting edge and the shallow flutes provide high tool cross-sectional strength.

Due to the high silicon content in the coating, the tool cannot be cooled with liquid.

Ball nose Z2 HM

The Z2 HM ball nose is designed for materials hardened up to 55 HRC.

Neutral flute geometry provides a favorable ratio of cutting edge life to surface area on the workpiece.

Tool with lowering behind the working part. Can be liquid cooled.

Ball nose Z2 HMP

The Z2 HMP ball noseis designed for materials hardened up to 65 HRC. Neutral flute geometry provides a favorable ratio of cutting edge life to surface area on the workpiece. Due to the high silicon content in the coating, the tool cannot be cooled with liquid.
